Chateau d’Eclans – Whispering Angel – 2017 (Rocky Mountain)
Chateau d’Eclans is nestled on the Mediterranean coast in the heart of Provence. They produce what is largely considered the greatest rose wine in the world, Garrus. Whispering Angel is her baby sister but still impresses and is far more accessible. How accessible you ask? They made 4.6 million bottles of the 2106 vintage. So why not try the most popular rose in the world?
Tasting Notes: very light in colour, tart raspberries and strawberry on the nose, bing cherry on the palate, crisp acidity and a limestone minerality
