Toro is a youthful and energetic region emerging with its own distinctive style. I find their wines to be more robust and rustic than their Rioja neighbours. It is a little hotter in Toro which gets us darker riper fruit and potentially higher alcohol levels. This wine is amped up and ready to roll!

Tasting Notes: Darker Cherry with a more cooked fruit profile and also a greater oak presence with flavours of toast and sweet vanilla. The tannins are very bold and brazen.
