Adelsheim – Pinot Gris – 2012 (Zyn)

Lake Country, Alsace and now Oregon!  The Willamette Valley is another great destination for Westerners.  This wine is so interesting because to me it falls exactly in between a more crisp, bright Pinot Grigio and a more bodied and textured Pinot Gris.  It has lifted aromatics and certainly is a racy little white!  A great wine but just a little too in between for me.

Tasting Notes: Clean and crisp. Definitely in the stone fruit profile with flavours of pear and peach.  Distinct minerality on the mid palate and a medium finish.
