Jean Louis Chavy – Chardonnay – 2015 (J. Webb)

This is a beautiful wine that I would not expect in this price range given that it comes from the village of Puligny-Montrachet in Burgundy.  This wine is my definition of harmonious with every element in perfect balance. The wine has the exact balance between the fruit and oak I look for in a great Chadonnay.  There is a wonderful mouth feel to this wine with a touch of honey on the finish.

Tasting Notes: Definitely more citrus on the front palate than I was expecting. Apple and honey on the nose.  Good minerality and a pleasing fresh acidity.  Oak and fruit in excellent balance.
