Muller – Catoir – Riesling – 2016 (J. Webb)
Muller – Catoir is from the Pfalz region of Germany. It borders on Alsace so it shares a bit of their warmth and sunshine compared to the cooler regions of the Rheingau. This wine is straight forward and linear but not in a bad way. Good alcohol and great acidity to be food friendly.
Tasting Notes: Quiet on the nose with citrus and a hint of white flowers. Mostly citrus qualities in a fruit forward wine with very refreshing acidity. A well balanced wine.
