What a great take on Cabernet Sauvignon!  This wine comes from the south of France and uses the talents of winemaker Jeff Carell.  If you see his name on the product then it is definitely a great value wine to try. This one gives you a true sense of the “garrigue” that one would usually associate with the Southern Rhone.  Really unique!

Tasting Notes: Dark cherry fruit but then you are hit with spicy notes of rosemary thyme and juniper.  Round and smooth with chewy tannins.  Could have easily mistaken this for an old vine Granacha.
