Domaine Zinck – Pinot Gris – 2015 (Bin 905)

A beautiful Alsatian treatment with wonderful mouth feel and full body.  There is a distinct smokiness and some spice that peak my interest on top of a strong green apple fruit presence.  The fact that it is has a hint of sweetness works for me as well.  This wine is opulent for sure!

Tasting Notes: Definitely a tart apple flavor on the front palate.  Secondary notes of smoke and some baking spices on the back.  Medium to long finish.  The hint of sweetness is in good balance with the acidity.  Nose hints to the spice but has a lovely white flower aroma.
